My sister is looking for an MMORPG where you're actually supposed to roleplay your character, and not just slay monsters and collect loot and level up. I feel kinda bad. I wish I knew what to tell her. =/ All I can really do here is say that Guild Wars has a great plot, (But is 99% combat/strategy oriented, which isn't at all her style.) and World Of Warcraft, which, while certainly entertaining enough in every degree that it is, seems to lack a plot that she can follow.
Can anyone recommend anything she might like? Many thanks. ^^.
She didn't like MUDS either.
Any Roleplaying MMORPG's out there?

Well I made a topic about MMORPGS
anyway
For you sister, Maple Story, if not Ragnarok Online, if not... THEN FLYFF!
Flyff is really good, exept it can get boring for people that get bored when they reach level 30.

Did you happen to read anything but the thread title when you posted, NineLives? She's tried all of those, and they contain no Roleplaying elements. They're just more levelling and monster slaying MMORPG's. Those aren't what she wants.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Gunbound is fun.
You level up, but leveling up only takes you to higher ranks.
It doesn't mean that you must level up and do stuff.
You can just simply play it without worrying on leveling up.
Wait
How old is she?

MMOs are repetitive, boring after awhile, and don't have set plots -- only sidequests.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've not seen one MMO out there that doesn't involve leveling up and then fighting other players for eternity.
WoW is the proclaimed best of them all (with the several gameplay elements in it and such), so if your sister can't get into that, she most likely won't find anything else that interests her.
