are there any linux users here?
I downloaded the lastest linux build but it won't run
here's what I get :
I'm running the lastest kubuntu release with kde 3.5
I remember I could launch a past zc build under puppy linux,
why not under kubuntu?

I have no clue what command "sh zelda-l" is, but I usually run the binary by typing "./zelda-l", which should get you going. Other than that, I have no clue...Perhaps you can try seeing if "execute" is set in properties?

kubuntu 8.04 "hardy heron"
Linux dorian-mende 2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 13:23:42 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
kde 3.5.9

oh, I didn't do that
I tried to install liballegro4.2 with adept manager
but I have the same results with it
what did you installed exactly?

well, I always do that to run executables files
exemple :
./zelda-l asks me to be root
and when I am, it says "command not found"
EDIT:
however the ./zelda-l command works well on puppy linux...

The permissions are set incorrectly after it's extracted. chmod o+x *-l should fix it.
