So scripters of PZC. How much of a hassle would it be for an item script that

Works on-use, because it will be attatched to 8 "song" items that are selectable and usuable.
Each song will have with it its own "warp ring" that basically means an actual whirlwind (or FFC, however that works)
The warp ring will contain 3 locations that will be warped to in sequence.
It will play a defined SFX and freeze all action, like an actual whistle.

Optional: A dialog pops up, "you played ______, where would you like to warp to?" to actually let the player choose.

I ask because by now, why the heck does the whistle still require the triforce to actually do anything, in my quest I want it so that you get a 'song' before each dungeon. The areas the song would warp you to would be the Dmap entrance (example, the beginning of the forest), the dungeon entrance (but the outside of it), and a third area I'd specify because some dmaps have towns (in the case of the forest, the village).

So how hard for a pseudo ocarina song system like in OoT? Only with a slight twist. If possible, a template script would work best, and advice on how to make 8 ... functions within the whole script that each apply to only one item. Similar to how multiple global scripts are combined, it would be 8 scripts in one that all do the -exact- same thing except that variables (like warp destinations, the SFX played) would be edited/changed.

Do you want to actually being able to push the buttons to play the song like OOT or just select the music to play in a list?

The graphics are just notes now, but you see on the left of the triforce those ocarinas? they're selectable items, and depending on which you select, it'll play a certain SFX/"song". Each song should have its own set of warp destinations, and if the scripter decides to go with the slightly fancier route of adding text, each song will be of course, named accordingly. "you played _______".

Not too hard, I would say.
I'm working on somethig like this.
When I have some positive result I will post them.

But anyway, I'm not seeing any simpler system to warp to exact location than specify inside the script (with som global variable) the DMap and screen of each place you want to be able to warp to.
I mean: in my project you cannot simply warp to "the continue point on the DMap"... Do you know some simple way to doi it?
