Custom Background Palette Problem.

Original Picture made from photoshop:
Now when I go to grab the palette from the picture by using Quest -> Graphics -> Palettes I use a level palette because there are 5 lines of colors in the palettes. And when I do that I get this screen:
Now the picture in the background is what I want it to look like and when I grab every line of colors for the palette I can never duplicate that picture. It seems that with all the colors I get from the lines I can't make it look right. This is the best I came up with but it still isn't what ZQ showed when it showed me all the colors in the 2nd picture:

ShadowTiger would probably know for sure if it is or isn't, he keeps up with that sort of thing better than I do.
I seem to be always a day late and a dollar short finding out about all the new secrets in there.

There's a option in Photoshop called Index Color Mode. It allows you to select a maximum palette, just set it to 16 and turn dithering off.

1) Make 5 different versions of the same picture.
2) Open up the colour palette in PS.
3) For the first picture, make EVERY colour apart from the first row that pink colour.
4) For the second, do the same to every row EXCEPT the second row, and so on for the other 3 rows.
5) ... actually, you'd have to fiddle with the palette even more so, since you could only have one transparent colour show up. If you reduce the image to 32 colours this method would work fine
(BTW that image is too big to fit on a single screen anyway)

Well, actually, that might be tougher
