I was able to get some help from the discord server. The jump script works as intended on normal screens, and only works in sideview with the screen data toggle, and not the d-map flag.

Hi, so I used this to combine these two global scripts, and I can't seem to get the Jump to work. The script imported without any errors. I looked at the example quest, and it doesn't seem to rely on any items or anything, just set the button. I'm using Ex1, but it didn't work on the default L either. I'm not sure if maybe it's a quest rule or something, but all other settings are left to the default settings.

Thanks!

Really dumb question: is the global script assigned? You were asking about Smart Assign on discord, but Smart Assign can only assign globals if the name is a certain name (like it'll only know to assign the global to the active slot if it's named "Active" I believe), Make sure the global script is assigned to the active slot!

Oh, huh, yeah I'm not sure. I did use Smart assign. I couldn't seem to find the window with the slots to assign scripts so I assumed it was just automatic. How would I make sure it's actually assigned to a spot?

(I won't be able to check for a few more hours)

Oh, do I need to rename the global script file "Active.zs" for it to work?

No, you need to rename the "global script MGSO_Combined" to "global script Active".

the Quick and Smart assign buttons are new. If you just press OK, it'll take you to manual slot assign.

Thanks again, I was able to assign it to the active global slot, but it still doesn't seem to do anything.

Edit: I was able to get some help from the discord server, and it seems the problem is the jump script doesn't work in sideview in the 1/06 3.0 alpha. The jump script does work as intended on normal screens however.
