Erm... yeah.
Both statements are true in the poll, because a banana becomes a half-eaten banana, but in essence it still is/was a banana. And a fully eaten banana is no longer a banana because it no longer exists, but it was a banana. The half-eaten part of the sentence is just describing the state of the banana. Both ways, it's a banana, and so, both statements are true. Just like how an unpeeled banana is a banana, but it's also an unpeeled banana, because both statements are true.
That's how I see it, anyway.

You're eating lunch, and you eat half of your banana. Now, the guy sitting next to you wouldn't say, "Could I have that half eaten banana?" He would say, "Could I have the rest of that banana."
So, it's still a banana, just half eaten.

But what if he says, "Could I have your half eaten banana?"
Which it is.

The more specific, the more overriding. "Half-Eaten" is just an adjective, and all adjectives are applied. I would override "Banana" with "Half-Eaten" banana.

So, it's a banana, just half-eaten.
It's true that some people would say "Hey, that's a HALF EATEN banana!" or "Could you give me that HALF EATEN banana?", but it's just because they specify the type of the BANANA, not saying that it isn't a banana rather something else.

There is a beast terrorizing the countryside. The locals want it gone, and advertise that they want someone to get rid of this "wolf". Hunter after hunter goes after it, because they are just expecting it to be a normal wolf. No one ever said that it was a man-eating wolf.
EDIT: Wait a minute, Who dug this topic up?

It's visible in Blade's example that the people calling hunters against a WOLF, whiches type is "man-eating wolf". Like the half eaten banana is a type of BANANA. Banana. Not an invidual item, rather one form of the banana.
(However, sometimes you get another item, by tearing apart a certain item. For example, if you separate the eatable part and the protector part of that banana...)

Word of advice, man:
Any topic over 2 months of age is considered to be dead. If you post in it to revive it, you're gravedigging, and you'll be warned for a minor infraction. The topic will almost certainly be closed. There are 2 exceptions to this rule.
1. A pinned topic is never considered dead.
2. Gravedigging does not apply to Quest Project Forums.
Take my advice and look at the dates before you post them, alright? Thank you.
