I have a fast connection now, but I had dialup until mid-2005. Takes ages just to load half a pixel of an image. And Flash, videos, large downloads? Forget about 'em.

I say it depends on what you use the internet for. If it's just for browsing, dial-up is just fine. If you play games online or download a bunch of junk, broadband's the way. I know both sides of the internet world.

I used to use dial-up but not anymore. I use Mozilla Firefox now.

Firefox is a browser, dial-up is a connection speed. You've got two different things going there. o_O

Wildbill: 24.4Kbs O_O
The thing that I just cannot stand is that people never, EVER realize how fast thier connections are. Up until the past week, I have had to put up with an 8kbs connection. Although I know there are people out there that have an even slower connection. Mine is 26.4K now.
