So I'm making a quest starring Mario, and I have Jumping Boots (reskinned Roc's Feather) set to A and Throwing Hat (reskinned Boomerang) set to B. However, whenever I leave a dungeon, the game will automatically switch them around (Boots to B and Hat to A). I'm not entirely sure why this happens, but is there a way to stop it?
Selected items switch around after leaving dungeon?

You might have a different subscreen set for each DMap. Make sure either that both DMaps use the same active subscreen or that both subscreens have the same item layout.

I got a similar bug (though I think it's unrelated) because I set none of the usable items to slot 0 in my subscreen. I don't think it was a related bug, but just in case...

Further, disabling items on DMaps may be a potential culprit: Do you have any items disabled on either DMap?

Another possible reason could be that you disabled items in one of the dmaps. This happens sometimes in my quest too.
