Can someone make a reflection script? I was playing Pokemon, I think Diamond, and I noticed that when the player walks by the edge of water, the player's reflection can be seen in the water walking along with him. I also think that such a script could be used for windows on buildings, kind of like when you walk by a window on a store front, you can see your reflection in the window; it could also be used for if the player walks in front of a mirror.

Another script that would be neat is one that leaves foot prints on the ground, (I believe the same Pokemon game) as the player walked across the sandy beach the player left a trail of fading foot prints be hind him. Such a script could be used for areas where there is sand, mud or even on a city sidewalk where the player has just walked through a puddle of water.

Speaking of puddles of water, if both of these scripts could be used together, then you could have the player's reflection and after walking through the puddle a fading trail of wet foot prints could be left behind.

I'm requesting such scripts because I hope to use them in my detective quest Jack Draco. If someone could please come up with something, that'd be great.

Thanks to whoever takes this up.

It's do-able. Someone should be able to help you out with it.

What we need are source and target 'states' I guess. What I mean by that is the ability to read and write over any internal buffer in ZC and then modify it however the user wishes. ..An example of this could be simply reading X layer screens then with a single line of code re-applying it with flip so that everything would be drawn upside-down. ...OK, I'll put it on my to-do list for 2.6. icon_smile.gif
