I vote #3 because he was a different type of custom in my experience when I first played the game and I also thought the dialog during the boss battle was pretty funny.

All of them are fun, but my fav is The Commander! Some of it is kind of random, but it's still a fun fight anyway.

Scion Eye. It has good looks. (Lol?) And I like the way how you beat it, but it is WAAAAY too manipulative.

I had to go with the Spirit Rangers for this one. You had to really think to avoid the attacks and hurt them. And then how the last one repeated what the other four did...pretty original.

I like the Scion Eye myself. I also think the old man was fun, and also the Commander was cool. But I guess my opinion doesn't matter.

In fact, it's very important how the questmaker sees a quest. A questmaker's favourite bosses/dungeons/etc. in his/her quests are very interesting details.

Spirit Rangers. Their attacks are extremely varied, and I like how they intercept you after Tybug lets you pass to the Triforce Piece - very unexpected.

I forgot about the old man. I should have put him up too oh well its already to late for that. I just like how he is link's grandfather and how he scolds link. I never expected him to be a boss that why I loved him so much especailly when he brings out the paddle.

He is ruthless with that paddle. O_o

But yeah, I like how this is like an even vote for like all of my custom bosses. So that means, they all have their pros and cons. I tried to make each one of them, different from one another, and glad that they were. icon_razz.gif

To me without question, one of the best guardians in this quest was the Dark Sorceror, A.K.A. Link's Grandfather, even if he qualified more as a miniboss fight. The paddle attack was absolutely hilarious and unexpected, because even though Link comments about it in the beginning of the quest and then his "Grandfather" threatens him with it in the caverns beneath the castle, you just didn't quite expect this monstrous paddle to come flying at you out of nowhere. Some of the other bosses, though cool and I respect the amount of work that went into creating them, were nothing I've not seen before. Island Sorrow borrowed from Facade for it's boss, and Level Two could be construed as similar to Bongo Bongo or Gohdan even if the wolf face was vastly different appearance wise and there were no hands. Level Four was obviously King Dodongo from Ocarina Of Time, Level Five was a variant of Mothula, and Level Six a variant of Kholdstare. Hothead was just a goofy fight to me though the concept of engaging him through multiple areas was novel. The Spirit Rangers were a cool concept, but their dialogue to me provided too many hints on how to attack them, and actually the final ranger's attacks were not entirely unexpected since often in a multiform or multitiered fight like that the guardian's final form often draws on skills and attacks of weaker, earlier forms. Actually the Rangers intercepting you was briefly foreshadowed by their meeting with the Commander in the Dream World since they said they were going to Season Isle to find that Triforce fragment; I was just unsure as to when and in what manner they would be encountered. The Commander was an interesting fight and seemed to borrow elements from Four Swords Adventures' fight with Ganon since he too warps you to an alternate space that you have to fight your way back from to resume the fight against him, but in the case of the Commander it was quite a difficult battle against him. I actually am more impressed with the efforts that went into making these enemies work than the results themselves which are still quite admirable, especially considering this was his first published quest.....
