All the shots have good design, but they just look so... unimpressive.
The only shot that looks new is Zeldafreak's *votes* I'm happy to say that... 7 of those items are my work (on second thoughts, the wand looks a little different to mine... maybe just 6 then)
In answer to DFW's question... I reckon the hookshot bushes have something to do with it
EDIT: Don't you think it's odd that DFW and SD submitted near identical shots? Actually, look at Sharon's last two submissions...
Ah well, it's all water under the bridge (oh yes, I'm the king of bad puns).

Oh yeah. Expect that to happen a lot when I'm making my overworld.

For example, I'm still making this subscreen, and while the finished product will have an opaque background, you can still see the parts that are transparent and semitransparent. You can achieve this by selecting the "overlay" checkbox (to make blank tiles transparent) and/or the "transparent" checkbox (to make the tiles semitransparent).

You can. Unfortunately the 3 1/2 tiles at the top where the passive screen is remains black. You can make the midsection of the subscreen transparent or semitransparent.
