voted for anthus, i just love the culmination of styles and on second viewing the newer underwater cliff tiles look so good here

As always, SotM features a lot of great shots.

For me, this came down to Sheik vs. Anthus, and I ended up siding with Anthus. At a glance, the shot has nice composition and attractive colors; looking longer, I see the the nice rock and sand details, the animated water, and the use of shading to communicate depth. The exposed squares of light water are maybe repetitive, but that's the only real critique I have. An excellent shot worthy of SotW 800 and SotM 197.
