Yeah, they can be a bit hard to find. I'll just say that they are near the top right of Sagittarius. One of them involves falling through spikes in a minor upgrade room (missiles I think?) found after a boss (I think?). It's a room with a bunch of swirly conveyor belts and huge spikes. The other can be found at the very top right, after another boss.

Even now, these corridors have their tricky parts.

As odd as this... peculiar turn of events was, I find it even more odd that it happened in Leo and not in Libra.

I would say these crab bosses would be the death of me, but that would be both old news and no longer accurate.

Well, that was an old "friend" I didn't expect to see again.

Regeneration sounds really good until your enemies start doing it too.

Remember that boss that teleport around the screen, then shoots out a whole 360° ring of bullets? That one regenerates back to 1/4 health and I had a HELL of a time beating it also due to its gravity effect. Holy hell.

Kudos on downing three corridors in a row.

He's doing things very intelligently; going after the high-power upgrades first and then tackling the corridors.  He should have no trouble at all finishing them off now that he's maxed out on firepower and armor.  I suspect he won't find himself in trouble again until he faces off against the end boss!

When you get invested in the characters, moments like this are all the more powerful.

It's even more fun when you learn that you didn't have to let it happen that way.

And that, if you want to fix it, you have to do EVERYTHING ALL OVER AGAIN!

P.S. Cave Story did this too, and it's method of saving the scientist is even more esoteric than mine.

EDIT:

Which is actually something I should post about in the Lets Play, I think.  My intention in offing this character or that character is intended to be much more than mere "fridging" (the act of killing off of a character in a story, typically a wife or girlfriend, to motivate the protagonist).  Each time one of the major characters in Zodiac kicks the bucket, it's actually because of something you did or did not do as a player.  It's not obvious, but it's true.  In the version the testers have, you can already save everyone on the Zodiac who wants to be saved.

If I have time, I will also add a final ending where you actually save everyone and end the war besides by doing something... very unconventional.   I won't even put it in the strategy guide, but suffice to say, it won't take long to add this to the game and it is the kind of thing no one might EVER find.

Part 61 (Final)

I definitely wouldn't mind replaying this quest on my own time later on.  It helps that I already have everything mapped out so I won't get so lost.
