Hello everyone! Oldhead here.

Link's Nightmare used to have Megaman 8's astro man when it first debued on this website and the current version has that changed. Does anyone have a copy of that old verison stowed away? If so would you be willing to send it to me?

I just wanted to play the version I remember.

Also:

Does anyone know the where the music came from at the start of Shadow of Evil? Motea Islands area?

Are you sure you're not thinking of Ibuprofen? Both are by the same author and use the same tileset. And Ibuprofen uses the Astro Man theme for its overworld.

For the Motea Islands theme, looks to be Disturbance in Agustria from Fire Emblem 4.

In ZC if you select ZC->Quest Midi Info from the drop down menu, it'll give a list of midis used in the quest along with their metadata. They'll not always be named sensibly and the metadata isn't always filled in with useful information. But it can give valuable leads to go off of.

Thank you for your response! I'm absolutely positive it was links nightmare, I actually beat most of it originally and I wanted to go back and finish it, it may have been one of the quests I was most familiar with (other than shadow of evil). I found the newer music choice to be a bit jarring (loud, really), no disrespect to the author. I realize its probably a lost cause unless I could contact the author and theyd be really unlikely to have a near 20 year old file.

Thanks!
