OK, I've literally done all I think I can do without a drastic overhaul, like putting in new enemy tile animation or something that possibly doesn't exist with the tileset.

Before I make the first official ad and start making the trailer, I need to get a few things out in the open.

1.  There was the game-crashing bug in the original version that got pulled.  I fixed it.

2.  Beginners wanted an Easy Mode.  I listened.

3.  My hardcore crowd wanted a Hard Mode.  I listened.

4.  People reported they didn't like the art style.  I found someone to fix that too.

If there's anything wrong at this point, I can't go any further to please people, I have other projects to do and this has been delayed enough.  Take it for what it is.  If it sucks at this point, then there's something wrong with my quest design on this, I'll take my losses and apply it to future projects.

So anyway, Nightmare Productions, in conjunction with Gleeok and Arceus, bring to you:

New Quest 2 2015

Featuring three difficulty modes aimed at all players, ten new levels, and the Revenge Tileset.  There is also a challenge level in the hardest difficulty for those who dare to approach that.

I will see you on May 1st, 2015.

And here's the first official advertisement:

New%20Quest%202%202015%20Advertisement.j

Official Trailer hopefully soon as I take another run and compile them together.

Well, after talking about it, I've decided to take a different route.

I will be releasing on Tax Day after all.

But I'll also be releasing a "commercial" trailer sometime afterwards, possibly with an update after bugs have been found.

Cheers!

Great!

...but you might want to change "Arceus" to "Dimentio". After all, that's my new name!

The Arceus name still exists.  What the heck happened?  If you changed your name it should replace the old one.

@Nightmare/James: Might I sincerely reccomend making use the newer version of the Revenge 2 tileset that me and Nexus spent alot of time fixing up and all?

FireSeraphim:  It's April 11th, I'm due to release on April 15th.  I don't know if it would cause massive issues with testing, as all the enemy types would have to be redone and possibly rebalanced, with another round of beta testing to make sure stuff isn't broken.  I wish you asked me about this much sooner, I don't know how much this would anger people if I did a last-minute delay like this.

Please PM me about this more.

Personally, I disagree. With the quest coming very close to release, changing the tileset this far in would be a little too much work, don't you think?

Agreed @Nexas.  Fireseraphim and Nexas, you two contact me in private please and I'll set up a project forum for Version 2.0

Thank you.

This is what I am talking about. It's not a big deal, but just something worth mentioning.

OK, you guys got an early treat.  I just uploaded it to the QDB, you can enjoy your difficulty modes.

There will be a commercial and a Version 2.0 later this year/early next year if anyone doesn't get that far.

My staff, please check out the new project forum.  We need to start planning.

Yes, you need a Whistle.  Check a mini-dungeon.

What about the locked door? Did I miss the key somewhere?

Yes, you need to find a Whistle->Stairs Secret to find a key.  Look for a mini-dungeon to find the Whistle.
