Thanks! I've been watching from afar. Yes, I finished it before. I started it again to help JPappi out. All I had in my notes was that the ladder was in level 4. Cheers to you!

Is anyone playing this quest? The last post is over a year old. I am in level 8 in a room with strong enemies that are not affected by any weapon that I have. The room needs a key to exit which I do not yet have. If anyone sees this post please give me a hint or something.

If you're talking about mirrorobes (if there are any) then you need to use the Fire Boomerang to reflect their shots (which can be found in the same dungeon).

White sword??? Cant seem to find it? Also, how do I proceed through the blocks in the overworld that create dead ends?

As for the blocks, you need special kinds of items to get past them. Like for the enterance of Level 3, you need arrows to get into. And for the White Sword, it's in the screen where you start.

I'm there now. I just finished level 0 and got the Master Sword. So far level 9 is just insane haha.

Yeah I realised Level 9 was a bit insane, even when I did my LP on it I died a couple times.

Level 8 there are spider guys (forget their technical names, gohmas?) that need arrows to the eyes in both the left and right rooms from start - my wooden ones aren't strong enough evidently. Where is the arrow upgrade, and have no potion buying ability either. Any help ?

The list of the heart containers are as follows:

 

Heart Container Locations

1. In the Graveyard, South-western screen of graves
2. One screen south of Level 1
3. Along the coastline on the far right of the overworld. Kill the 2 Mirrorobes to get the Heart Container
4. One screen north of the Lost Woods
5. One screen north of Level 8.

Can anyone tell me where the arrow upgrade is?  I'm stuck in the beginning of 8 and my wooden arrows do not do any damage to the Spiders?!?
