When I made the original BS trees, some people said they just looked liked large bushes and not enough like a tree, well I've made a new tree for the BS Tileset and was wondering what people thought. Here are some pics comparing the old one and new one.

I've been tinkering with some palettes that I wasn't quite satisfied with... The most notable changes being in Eislynn Overworld and Dawnwood Sanctum. Thoughts? I think I finally nailed it... (although I'm not quite sure about Sanctum's water...)

I think I would go for a more blue water tint in the dungeon, if only to have more variation in colour. You already have a lot of reds and purplish colours in that palette

Otherwise I think it looks great

Ye old Turtle Rock... but it's not a dungeon... or is it!? Nah, it isn't. (And a major palette revision for Evertide Montis).

I see you're using Ether's character sprite. This screen looks awesome, and I like the new palette quite a bit.

@Demonlink: that character sprite by Ether looks great in this fantastic screen. Glad to see turtle rock not as a dungeon for once.

 

@Matthew: that is quite the drastic change with those screens, but I can still recognise the original layout in the newer screens somewhat. Least to say it is a great improvement! Not only are the palettes better, the screens are more spacious and detailed, I really like it.

I've been fiddling around with this overworld area, but I'm not quite sure if the palette is exactly as I want it to be yet... My idea is that it's not quite a winter area, but much more of somewhere that is very "naturey"... A place that's rather cold but filled with life. As for the dungeon, I think I've got what I wanted:

I've made a new tree for the BS Tileset and was wondering what people thought.

The pixel work is great, but the style doesn't match BS. I don't think BS trees should be symmetrical.
