I started working on a Zelda 1 Remake after a multiple-year break from Zelda Classic. As difficult yet satisfying as I remembered. The remake is more of a reimagining, as it fixes a lot of Zelda 1's problems and fuses the two quests together. It also gives theme and variety to areas that lacked it. I made quite a bit of progress on the overworld, finishing 70-75% of it in two days (with only a few screens detailed to their fullest). Problem was, a huge amount of work in two days burnt me out, and I've lost the excitement. I want to continue but I need to know that their is a want for it. Is there? Thank you.
What is the Demand for Another Zelda 1 Remake

As long as it is fun, and not a screen for screen Z1 remake, it should be alright. Origins is a good example of a first quest remake, but with a twist.

Well, now I know what I was making already exists. I'll probably switch over into a completely new quest lol. I had no idea.

Lots of different Z1 remakes either exist or are in the work. Origin, Origins, Throwback, Hyrule Fantasy, etc...
If you feel you can make something creative, though, go ahead!

If yours is different from that one, do it!
Unless you can't be bothered. We can't force you.
But, really, most people aren't necessarily wanting any specific quest before they know enough about it, whether it be another Zelda 1 remake, or just a linear space quest. As long as it's fun to play and to make, make it. If it's not the same as Origins, it's fine.
