Do they worship penguins or something? Every door I see in Hyrule is located on the SOUTH side of the building. Even cave doors! It's like they're just waiting for the Penguin Messiah to arrive!

You just made me think about what would happen if the doors were on the north instead... What a crazy perspective you'd get. It'd be like soaring in a helicopter and looking underneath your own legs.

Growing up in the root cellar capital of the world. (don't ask me what on earth inspired them to come up with that title). Every single cellar faced the same direction all for the purpose of getting the right amount of sun and wind. I believe they face north here so they can catch the cool winds during the summer months.

Perhaps the Universe of Zelda itself is in the southern region and all the caves in Zelda really are just root cellars all trying to catch as much Pinguin cool breeze during the warm Hyrule Season.

By golly gee!!! I just over-analyzed 8 bit and 16 bit fiction (and revealed my home town... Damnit)
