I've taken a break from working on this, and though there hasn't been any progress made, I just wanted to say I'm still planning on working on this. I've struggled a bit with the direction of the quest, but ultimately, as I work on it, I want to be fun to play, and to build. I am changing my design philosophy with this one. I started to take it way to seriously and get caught up on making it a certain way.
On a somewhat unrelated note, I have been 'busy' with life. My last job (a line cook at a poorly managed restaurant) completely sucked massive dicks constantly, and I was miserable. I had no motivation to work on my quest (or any game related project for that matter), but now, I've gotten a way more laid back job at Ace Hardware and I still feel like I am decompressing. I love it, it is so much easier, and I have so much more energy to put towards my creative stuff, and I feel a lot less stressed. I feel full of life and energy again, and it really is a great feeling
.Anywho.. all this simply means is that I am going to get back into using ZC. I had fun with the 2-week contest, even though I didn't start till a week into it. And, I also wanted to shed a little insight to why this quest page hasn't had anything happen for a while.
