The Two Scripts are Done!!

I finally finished scripting the scripts that I am adding to my quest. Read below, they are very interesting and I'm sure that you guys are going to enjoy it!! :D


Healing Tome
  • Type- Item
  • Features- It heals you using your magic at a rate of about a quarter heart for every half block of magic.
This should hopefully make more uses for the magic meter and also allow you to live more!! :D


Difficulty Settings
Yep!! This quest will have FOUR selectable difficulties, Casual, Intermediate, Hardcore, and Insane, and each will change the power of the enemies that you fight. The quest is defaulted (being made in) the Intermediate difficulty, so the values and percentages below are compared to intermediate difficulty. Also note that speed changes only apply to certain enemies. I won't give away the full details of the damage changes to make it more of a surprise! ;)
  • Casual- Enemies' stats will be reduced by an average of 33% (0.67x).
  • Hardcore- Enemies' stats will be increased by an average of 33% (1.33x).
  • Insane- Enemies' stats will be increased by an average of 116.66% (2.1666x).
This difficulty setting will be chosen at the beginning of the game and you will NOT be able to change it later. Hopefully this will add a layer of replayability to the game as well as making the game best for how you play. Hope you like it!! :D

sweet. I'm excited to find out how this new item works.

-could it be that there are a limited few found well hidden in the landscape?

-is it one item that can be chanted once and any more times must be after another set number of enemies are beaten?

-might it be the triforce prize given after each level with one use after one level and additional/double use after each next level?

I'd bet it doesn't suck.

I was actually going to have it be able to be used at any time but your ideas for when you can use it sound pretty cool!! I actually might try to make it like that! :D
