Check the SW Synth in your volume controls. If that doesn't work, play the Lost Woods option in ZQ.

Yeah, and if that doesn't work check the SW volume control. You can get there by right clicking the volume on the tool bar and make sure it's not on 0.

Which version are you using? The problem you're probably talking about occurs most in 2.10.

Hehe..In hate this problemo... Open windows media player(try all your midi players) and play any midi with it. STOP the midi! DO NOT USE THE PAUSE BUTTON! STOP it, with the square button. THEN leave the media player open and play the quest you want. If the music is back, try closing the media player... if the music dissapears again after closing the media player, repeat the first step and leave it open EVERYTIME you play a quest... this is no longer a problem with Windows Vista, so if you're using that I don't know your problem...

midis are the music that ZC plays - they're smaller, compacted files of songs. Y'know the sounds a keyboard (not the one you type with) makes? Those sounds are used in a midi. Long story. Anyway, this is a problem with 2.10, there is a 2.10.2 version that has this music glitch fixed. I don't have a link, maybe someone else does icon_wink.gif

Happens to me with every version of ZC. Open ZC, and while you have it open, right click on the volume button in your tool bar, and select Open Volume Control. There should be a slot where it's all the way down. Put it back up to the top. Simple.

midis aren't just for ZC - they're for anything. You want to make a movie with a midi in it - you can do it. they're used for mainly computer games, and ringtones on your mobile phone (cell phone). VG Music.Com is a good source for most midi files you want from video games. They're just like wav and mp3 files, i guess.
