3 is an important number. It's the number of sides a triangle has. It's the first odd prime number. It's the number of times Dennis Quaid has been divorced.

But most importantly, it's the number of contestants we have this week. Let's get to it!

Revealing my secret project celebrating the announcement of WW being updated on the Wii: I'm demaking WW in classic set. Here's one quadrant from the overworld that I have finished.

Unfortunately, you'll have only 28 days to vote this month instead of 30. Blame Numa Pompilius. Good luck to all three competitors!

Voted for Evan for being the most realistic map of the bunch.

....

Actually voted for SpacemanDan cuz the dungeon looks cool.
Rambly's map is also good, but not particularly inspiring.

I'm reaaaaaaaaaally surprised as many people liked my map as they did. Thanks for the support, everyone!

...

I dunno what it means if it has as many votes as Evan's, though. :x

On a more serious note from before, I think that SpacemanDan's map is really the only good one this time.

Rambly - Love the good old BS overworlds, this one included.

SpacemanDan - Very interesting dungeon. The kind I like to play. My vote.

Evan20000 - I think that is where Waldo is hiding.

Too dungeon like? Its a dungeon, how else is it supposed to look? You need to be a bit more specific than that.

im,evens....to small,s

I believe Evan200000000's map was a joke. And it's almost the same size as the other maps, except it's much emptier.

Voted for Evan, by the way.

Rambly:

This is pretty solid BS, but there's not much to really distinguish it. Unfortunately, I realize it's hard to distinguish an overworld when working solely with BS, unless you're making an extremely retro, Z1-style quest. The mountains in the bottom left are impressively structured, though. You have BS mountain use down, and I can't find any errors to speak of. icon_smile.gif

Spacemandan:

Oooooh, someone actually made use of my chains loose tiles, in all three sizes... icon_biggrin.gif They're a little distracting from the rest of the map composition when looking at it as a whole, but I doubt it interferes with the gameplay when seen close-up. Anyway, you wall shapes are a little bit erratic, and I'd seriously cut down on the zig-zagging...but otherwise, this is a fairly appealing dungeon map.

Evan20000:

Ahhh, an aquatic screen. How nice. My main concern is that there is so little walkable area. I think it's because so much space is taken up by bushes. Perhaps you should cut down on your bush use. It'll make the map feel much less cramped. icon_biggrin.gif

Hmmmm.... for my vote, I'm gonna go with.... Rambly!

Dan definitely competed, and he took more chances, but I think Rambly's design is solid enough to make up for the lack of risks taken.
