On the Green is what Nathaniel used to refer to his updates whenever he processed submissions.  That was back before the new version of the site, though.  So, they weren't newsletters.

 

You can see those old updates by going to the site news section.  Unfortunately, there's no way to search.  You can just go through the pages.

Who gets interviewed?

Also, is it possible to opt out of interviews? Not saying that I would, but some people would probably be uncomfortable with it.

Sorry for removing my post a few minutes ago, as that was meant for a staff topic, and I put it here by mistake.

 

But I will still address your post NJF:  If we did have interviews, I don't think people should ever be forced into doing them.  They would have to agree to being interviewed first.

Ah, thanks guys, and yeah that's what I wanted to know LTM. I didn't know you could browse through the site news. The first On The Green update happened on 25 Nov 2006.

As was mentioned in the first staff note, we made some changes to #2 of our site and forum rules.  If you have any questions about it, you can ask about it in this thread.  Of course, anything related to the newsletter can also be discussed here.

We post the newsletter on the first Sunday following the first Saturday of every month. This month's will be posted tomorrow, right on schedule.
