Would it be possible to make a toggleable feature for the moldorm type so that we can have them ignore solidity optionally.

They already ignore solidity, I just want to be able to disable it for them.

I made my Moldorms not ignore solidity by putting no enemy flags on all the solid walls on the screens with moldorms

I do the same thing, it's the only work around I have for now.

 

edit: Which of course effects everything that doesn't ignore enemy flags. -_-

There is a combo type "No ground enemies" but I'm not sure if it blocks Moldorms. Never tried it before and simply accepted Moldorms for the way they are
