It's a simple idea, and I would have done it myself if I could find some handy dandy documentations.

-> The idea is that the clock item, which drops from enemies in zelda 1 normally, will not go away after one use. Instead it will stick in the inventory.

I tried to work out how it works ATM, and it seams that once you pick up a clock it is indeed added to the inventory, but once the timer runs out and/or it's activated, it's removed again.

I'm not super into how the whole scripting thing works, but I need to work for ZC 2.5 beta, if that says anything.

Why do you want it to stick in your inventory? You cant use it as a button item and because it is a drop, you pick it up to use it several times.

I think what she was saying is that she wants a clock that can be activated from the inventory and remain there. It would be simple too, but I don't how I could go about scripting that.

^ Pretty much this.

Moscow: In 2.5, you can define any drop rate you wish, hell you could have moblins drop the magic sword if you so wished. Obviously the clock won't be a drop item if I can get it in the inventory.

Edit:

BigJoe over on IRC made this for me! <3

So the topic can be closed now if wanted.

This would make a great spell for my quest... it would have to be very expensive, though. Either use lots of magic, or maybe even cause damage to Link as he pushes against the otherwise frozen-in-time universe. Cool.
