Now with there being so many choices in Antivirus software nowadays.
Here is my Question what do you use As AntiVirus software?
I use a program called Fix it utilities 9.
It is a neat program. This version of Fix it utilities has a internet optimizer in it.

I don't use any. Smart enough to avoid the crap, and if anything ever would make its way in, I'd just do it the hard way and manually remove it. In fact, I just had to do it to a computer at school the other day because it had the nar.vbs script trojan, which I had to manually remove because the school's virus scanner sucks and didn't pick it up.

I think some things are far more important than having an antivirus program - like I said here. But for the record, I use BitDefender myself. Like any antivirus program it has its strengths and weaknesses, but it suits me.

No, I don't use it, but that's because I don't have a need for it...
I don't want to throw away CPU power at Antivirus softwares.

On the rare occasions that I'm actually using a machine booted into Windows natively, I tend to use Avast! or Kapersky as well. Rudolph, you might want to be a little wary of the FixIt Utilities as I have heard some pretty unfavorable reviews. However, it's not as bad as Norton or McAfee Antivirus.

I'm not sure if my computer HAS anti-virus software ... I've had my Mac for like almost 5 years now and nothing bad has happened to it. It crashed the moment I tried opening a Microsoft program though. Go figure. icon_mad.gif

Ubuntu Linux.

When I ran Windows, though, I used Avast!, and Firefox with Adblock and Noscript. Never had any problems with viruses/malware.

Ugh. Don't get me started on McAfee.

Used to have it. Was a PH41L system.

Got AVG. It picked up things that McAfee didn't... old things. Still protects us now.

I use Avast! coupled with Firefox/AdBlock Plus. Never had problems since I got rid of Norton.

Well, McAfee, could have picked it up. What I have found, is when you un-install an old anti-virus, it still leaves behind its quarantined content, so the new anti-virus can pick them up...
Just because I said that does not mean I like McAfee icon_thumbsdown.gif

I use AVG 8.0, and AdAware SE. I don't really feel that I need any more Anti-Virus programs than those two.
