and just about everything elses Z coordinate.
i know when its set to 0, link is on the ground. but... if its higher than 0, and i move link across the screen, will he be afected by solid combos underneath him? or will he be registered as above them by the game?
same goes for enemies and everything else that has a Z coordinate.

Urm....
If you set Link's Z to a value greate than '0' via script, he won't be able to walk over solid combos.
If you set his Z greater than '0', then move his (x,y) coords on top of a solid combo, then he will (perhaps reasonably obvious?).
If you want to keep him at a constant height, you'd be best to set Link->Jump to '0' too.

okay...
i guess his Z height really wouldn't matter then, aside from enemy collision... hm...
ok thanks.

Combo Detection's a nice one too.
Link can jump over spikes and things.
Or if you script bottemless pits.
