Is it possible to check to see if a string is being displayed at the moment the script runs?

i don't think so... not with my experience at least. a few months ago it wasnt possible, so unless they put that feature into one of the later builds, i dont think it has been implemented yet.

Maybe (with lots of trial and error and lots of spare time) you could develop a workaround for it...
But it would take time, and most likely be very buggy and unstable for whatever you need it to do.

I believe LinkTheMaster worked out a method of doing this using dummy items and string control codes.

So basically no, unless you want to use a work-around.

Moved to Scripting Practise.

Dummy items... Of course. >_< That'll work perfectly for what I want. Thanks! icon_biggrin.gif
