The answer is on the tip of my fingers...

What I'm wanting to do, is this. Link walks in a room, steps on a warp, is sent to the cutscene and then is sent to another screen and must survive monsters that he can't hurt (no sword) for a minute, and if he survives the door opens and the cutscene cannot be accessed again. If he dies, then the cutscene is still available and the player must attempt it again.

I'm not sure on how to do this...mind goes dull after a few hours in Zquest icon_freak.gif

By the way, this is all going on in a cave.

Also, some other things I need to know,

1. How many seconds is a 'tic'?

2. How do I set up a Time Warp?

Well, I can't really help you about the one time cutscene, but I can help you with the other questions.

1: 60 tics=1 second
2: Set the side warp to the screen you want to warp to, but don't set a side in which you cross to activate the warp, and then put in how many tics you need on the screen.

Thanks Nuvo :-D

I think I gots how to do this. I only need to know how to activate (Permanent) secrets on other screens, which I know is possible, I just forgot.

I'm using 2.11.

what version are you using? In any beta version you can have secrets that link to other rooms, which can remove the warp for a cutscene

For the one timed warp, you could have Link reenter the room from a different door. Set a combo type Trigger (Permanent) on the ground, so that it's the first thing Link steps on. Set a flag 16 on the original warp. Go to Data->Secret Combos, and open the Misc. tab. In the square of boxes labeled "Secret Flags," click the first one and find the tile you want. (i.e. if it's a magic warp, the under combo would be the deactivated warp.) Click OK. Now you have disabled the first warp, permanently. icon_biggrin.gif

Just set it to insta-warp, should work.
Or if it doesn't, just make it warp you to a room where the floor is completely direct warps.

There is no way to do a direct timed warp. Just try an Insta-Warp with Zap effects. Usually works out great. icon_biggrin.gif
