Ugh, a beach. Way too ordinary for a legendary island like this.
Joelmacool
generic water dungeon with important water source
Shane
Can't be a Fire Sanctuary without fire.

It's an attractive scene with plenty of room to move around. I would love to play a quest that keeps these principles in mind, but as a contender for Screenshot of the Week, the shot could use a little more pizzazz.

At first, this screen didn't look like much to me, but then I noticed the subtle and well-placed water details. Very nice job on those--I'd love to see the scene in motion.
Shane
A distinctive palette and an elegant sunscreen make this shot stand out in my eyes. The overall design is simple and effective; the shooting fire really leaves me wanting to see what's up that staircase that is so well protected. I would really love to see the animation on the fire, since I feel that is really important to the effectiveness of this screen. If your sprites translate down the screen as they're shown, I don't think the fire would look as fierce as it could. If the sprites animate and flicker to look dangerous, that would make a huge difference. The static shot is good enough for my vote this week, but I think seeing it animated would bring it up two notches.
