what i don't get is the b button glitch.
it works fine for me.
also did you try the scroll thru items buttons?
(the ones that make it so you don't have to press start)

The subscreen doesn't appear in 429, but it might in other builds. fireice, which beta/build did you use when you finished it?

I have played the quest and defeated it. I must say this quest is pretty damn good. I liked the frog statue at the beginning. What was that supposed to do? Was that just for fun?
I, too, couldn't get the B items to work, but that's because of the No Subscreen rule. That might be why it won't let you use the items.
Good job! Hope the next quest is better (and longer too!)
