We've made some changes to the member roles in Discord and the process for joining. If you're an active member on our Discord server, this likely won't affect you. If you're interested in joining, go ahead and hop over here!
We've added a new role, "Members," which is required to be able to post messages in nearly every channel of the Discord server. The role has been assigned to most existing members automatically. However, we've pruned members with no activity for 30 days. If you've been on hiatus for awhile, you'll need to join the server again.
When a new member first joins the server, they'll only have access to #lobby. Posting a message there will get the staff's attention. We'll approve you and assign the Members role so you can participate in the discussion areas of the server. (The lobby will only be visible to you if you're unverified.)
We're sorry if this causes any inconvenience. Given the size of the server and the prevalence of alternate accounts, we felt this was a necessary step.
If you experience any issues with permissions or notice anything else amiss, please let us know.
