I think Shoshon's is fine in context of a quest. The sand lacking borders does hurt the shot regardless. I do think your building would fit better in this screen if it felt like the area around it was more lived in. Fences, a sign, a garden... Something feels missing to complete this. 

 

Feenicks bringing back newfirst. It's a simple but fine composition. I do think Newfirst screens would greatly benefit from more palettes and GB asserts ported over.

 

I might be biased but I am blown away by Matthew's autumn forest! The colours, the layers, the details... it all works.

 

I do admire the detail on Twilight Knight's tower. The bucket and mailbox are both a cute touch.

Was quite tricky to choose, but I went with Twilight Knight's shot, in the end. It makes me think of old-school fantasy, somehow.

Honestly very difficult choice between Matthew and Twilight_Knight, but I had to go with Matthew because I love the fall aesthetic.
