Discuss. Imagine the battles when the PHYSICS kick in I guess Sony's trying to make up for an otherwise sub-par selection of games.

[sarcasm]Yeah, games based on "enhancing" the female body parts are going to sell out. [/sarcasm]They need to do their research on the past few suggestive games, like Rumble Roses and Leisure Suit Larry. I can't wait to hear what the reviewers would have to say about that, especially GameSpot.

Shoot... next year, and it'll already be out on PS3. I don't know if I want a PS3 by then, but I really want to keep up-to-date on SC, especially if they un-nerf Talim and make Seung Mina closer to how she was in the previous games. The changes they made to those two characters has really killed half of my SC game. Taki's the one I play best, and I've never been able to fully master her massive move list.

Anyways, I would've loved to have Soul Calibur III, and Soul Calibur (whatever the next one is) is probably good. Though I didn't click the link, I quickly deduced what's going on. I have one word: ew.
Especially if it's Ivy. I dubbed her one of the ugliest women in video game history, and shouldn't be showing what she does, simply disgusts me.
Now I clicked the link. That is just stupid. Soul Calibur II was just perfect, and nobody had boobs that big. And that's probably why.
Oh well. It's not out for a system I have anyways.

But it's not likely to happen.

Just because a game in the Soul Calibur series has fan service doesn't mean it will come to undermine the quality game balance that is the series' best trait. It doesn't exactly take a lot of extra work to give a character bouncy boobs; they still put just as much effort into constructing quality gameplay. It's merely something to roll your eyes about.
In all honesty, when I'm fighting someone at Soul Calibur, there is far too much to worry about for me to be paying attention to fan service. If you were dueling to the death in real life, you probably wouldn't care much about the state of your opponents chest and skirt, either.
So in conclusion, if people don't behave, I'm going to start reminding everybody that Namco's "bounce algorithms" are also used to animate ASTAROTH'S HUMONGOUS, JIBBLY MAN-PECS. >D

The only thing that bothers me about characters with fan service is that if it happens to be a character I play, some idiot's always going to accuse me of playing the character for the jubblies.
That's very true. I'm not a big 1-on-1 fighter person anway, but those are usually the worst for "Super Ultimate Bust Attack". I've only played a bit of SCII, and I remember Ivy being one of the best characters, but there is always a feeling that other people think you've chosen her because you're some kind of Virtual lech. I know many female gamers... Samus is going to give my the same stick in SSBB.
If you were dueling to the death in real life, you probably wouldn't care much about the state of your opponents chest and skirt, either.
I don't know if it'd help though. But I'm not a fighting-in-real-life person.
Soul Calibur Legends has just been announced on the Wii, and, as it's still in the concept art stage, there's only a simple, cartoon-like picture of Ivy breaking mummies into bits, so I don't know whether Wii owners will see if her bits are regulation size or not. The "scary bird" thing does the trick anyway!
Despite that last paragraph, I should point out that that was a joke, I am 24 years old, and that none of this will actually have any effect on the potential popularity of the game to me, when complete.

Of all the girls on Pure, how many of you would go into a battle wear little to no clothing/armor?

But fighter's have always been aimed at the teenage male, remember Orchid from Killer Instinct on the SNES??? Nipple popping out everywhere! Mai Shiranui anyone? I guess DOA really took it to the softcore porn level... DOA beach volleyball!? What the hell!?
... some crazy looking boobs though...
