I figure it could be scripted that when a boomerang hits a certain enemy it does/doesn't hurt them and then falls to the enemy's feet instead of returning to the player. it is then removed from the inventory until the boomerang is retrieved. make sense? like, boomerang returns after hitting gels and bats, but would just die at the feet of a knight. maybe there are medium classes (goriyas, etc.) that get stunned and knock down the boomerang. word.

Yeah, that would make a lot more sense. i was going to post a post just like this one, but you beat me to it.
