What do you mean by 'a cursor appear on a string'?

That little cursor that appears next to the yes and no options.

Oh yeah, my current not-so-well-written version handles yes/no choice like that, I was intending to have a set of choices written out at the end of the string inside the textbox that you can move round through rather than having a separate little block when I re-write it though cause it'll be quite a bit more versatile.

So if we use the string.zh string editor instead o the built-in one, would we have to script every dialogue in the game?

string.zh isn't a string editor, it's just a bunch of functions for string manipulation. It's basically string.h but written in ZScript.
