In 2.10.2, I think it was.
I know it is in 2.5.

Since it is also applicable to palette bugs, when you bomb a secret that activates insta-warps, a palette bug similar to that one appears. Is this fixed in later versions?

I believe so.
But don't take my word for it. Look on AGN's bug report forums. You're true answer will lie there.

It happened to me in 2.10.2, although only in the default quests. It's the same for any type of doorway, too - it even occurs in the overworld (again, only in the default quests).

Well. There you have it. Apparently it isn't and I highly doubt it will be since the devs are more concerned with 2.5 at the moment.
Oh well.

as you say ... "oh well."
i believe 2.5 will never end
this is getting insane to expect new stable versions

the new versions are pretty damn stable if you ask me. yes they are still a few months away from a "perfect" build, but they are definatly making progress towards it.
if people actually bug tested/made quests with it then all the bugs would be weeded out of it. the fact that everyone is scared off of it is why bugs continue to slowly trickle in as people eventually build quests with it... because if everyone built quests with it to begin with then all the bugs would be found already thus letting the developers prioritize the order to fix bugs and make sure they don't interfere with something else.
AGN appears to have broken down after editing my sig and making a single post there -.-
