It'd ALSO Be nice if we could get even MORE buttons for ZC though. icon_razz.gif No sense in having to take over two fully functional buttons when you could just make more. Buttons used SPECIFICALLY For scripted functions, and nothing else.
Like A/B/X/Y, L/R, start/select ?
You read my mind ... people requested a new feature halt until 2.5, but then  let's just say it's "more than possible".
As to the poll in question: I use them very frequently. I went as far as to memorize things like how many taps of "L" it is to go from boomerang to arrow in Lost Isle.

Using L and R for other features would be fun.
Question: do people hate quests that put the items out of their usual order? I have been strongly considering doing this for DoR, just because the default order doesn't make sense in a few aspects. In particular, the hookshot and the boomerang SHOULD be next to eachother.

_L_ will probably add X and Y buttons in the post-2.50 era

What do you mean by "probably"? By the time _L_ is done, Zelda Classic will be called Link to the Past Classic.
But anyways, to answer the poll, I cannot live without them. I'll ocassionally open up the subscreen, but for the most part I just scroll with L and R, since I have memorized how many times to press them to get from one item to the next. That's why Lost Isle confused me so much. The items were in different positions.
