I just wanted to publish a project page to stay motivated and to keep updates as transparent as possible. If you don't have any idea what this quest is about, I suggest you check the front page of this project and then read on.

Progress wise, as mentioned, is nearing the halfway mark. I am focusing on making it functional by adding secrets, scripts and general interiors. Here is the overworld in its entirety:

Nice overworld! I love an overworld with lots of rivers, waterfalls, dungeons, etc. Good job!

It looks much better if you zoom in and look at the areas individually. Anyway, good luck on this quest!

nice, the predominant colors seem to be green and blue .. I like this.

I would have liked that the cemetery had a more melancholic appearance, whit darker colors, but is nice even like this

Very nice. That's a good chunk of work done already. I was thinking that maybe a lone house here or there might be nice, too. The only human settlement seems to be the village in the corner. That's fair of course, though it might be a nice change of pace if you run into a house every now and then. You might also check whether you'll find a spot for Syrup and with all the water in your map I was thinking that the pirate ship would surely fit in somewhere (maybe near the graveyard? - it could be a dungeon even).

As for more houses: certainly. A potion shop sounds good actually. Not sure if I could fit the pirate ship near the graveyard (would look weird in the rivers?). Best spot is somewhere south west, perhaps? In any case, I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

Oh, and I like your idea of having the villain sealed away in a tree. That's actually very nice.

Er, what I meant to say is, this looks pretty awesome. Like others have said, I like the color scheme, and I like the overworld design and flow. Make dungeons capable of matching it and you'll have an incredibly solid quest on your hands.

I updated the overworld with more house interiors and two potion shops (or maybe one of them will be something else?). I also made a few other personal changes. See the top post for the updated map, and again, thank you everyone for your kind remarks.

 

I'll start interiors hopefully soon!
