Okay dude...this is just weird...you didn't state your own favorite band in your opening sentence...and just to let you know there's already been one or two of these topics in the past few weeks.

This is not rent-a-modding, I was just filling him in...

Dashboard Confessional, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Sum 41

Just to name a couple...

Hmmm....

In order from current most favorite to...well not as most (or something) favorite! icon_biggrin.gif Idiot...
  • Nightwish
  • Cradle of Filth
  • Tool
  • A Perfect Circle
  • Tool
  • Marilyn Manson (Oh and he's NOT a goth artist, I have facts to prove this)
  • Lacuna Coil
  • Theatres Des Vampires

If you can't tell from my list, I'm quite the fan of Goth (and a little Black, ie: Cradle of Filth) Metal.
There's also a bit of Nu-Metal and Progressive in me. (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Mudvayne, Marilyn Manson).
Yes, I know I said Tool twice.

I would have to say Godsmack is one of my favorites. Especially because of the song, "Serenity" I loooooove that song. @_@

Yes yes, they are a nice band. And anyone who hasn't heard some of the stuff off "The Other Side" need to, as it's brilliand (the acoustic version of Re-Align is excellent, and Asleep is fantastic)

But I recently have been picking up on "Garage Rock" as I call it. Stuff like Jet, The While Stripes, Silvertide, The Hives, The Strokes, Marble Index, U2 (their newest) and a couple others.

Mine are in no particular order...

Slipknot
Green Day
Blink-182
Papa Roach
Weird Al Yankovich
Linkin Park

That's about it. My girlfriend is getting me into Goth and Black metal though. Rock on Nightwish, Cradle of Filth, etc...

I listen to Pink Floyd and Green Day, also Chevelle and Three Days Grace (even though they have admittedly little talent).

I used to listen to a lot of linkin park, but due to their latest album being only half a frickin' hour long, I got burnt out on them very quickly. I'm really into American Idiot right now, and I'm unraveling The Division Bell. icon_biggrin.gif

I would have to say Rush, Boston, AC/DC, Metallica, and Triumph.
I have many more but that would take hours to list icon_razz.gif
