ok, the only 2 things i would like to use in the beta build is the menu changing and arrows, would it be a good idea just to use beta for those? and because I'm making my first quest still?

AND is ZQuest v1.92 Build 182 a good build to use?

I really don't reccomend using the beta just for that. You should get used to full releases first.

And beta 183 pwns beta 182.

There wasn't a b183 release of ZQuest; the b182 one was packaged with Zelda Classic v1.92b183. icon_wink.gif

EDIT: My bad, I didn't realize that the 184 Player actually came with ZQuest. I'm really losing my touch.

There is no best. It's also likely that 1.92 Beta 182/3/4 is even less stable than the most recent one from Shardstorm at this point. It's getting really close to fully stable.
