TEMPORARY Bug Reporting Thread

Alright, since AGN is down for an unknown amount of time, that doesn't mean that bug reporting stops as well (unless the mods here think otherwise). Anyways, the object is simple; post bugs. Now, the process:
  1. If the problem is in fact a bug, use the icon_exclaim.gif smilie in your reply. For greater clarification, include the quest that has the known bug in the post.
  2. If you are unsure that a problem is a bug, use a icon_question.gif smilie in the post.
  3. For replies on a bug, state which bug you are talking about to avoid any confusion. In fact, put an icon_arrow.gif smilie and then "reply to 'bug x'" at the top of the post.
For the icon_exclaim.gif , icon_arrow.gif , and icon_question.gif buttons, click "Show All" in the Smilies box. They should be near the bottom of the new window.

Now, I'll start.

Three problems in Large Mode (Beta 704):
  • ag.cfg seems to become unstable after several uses; this might be due to a counter not resetting to 0. The result is text changing when a command is selected in the Commands box, and eventually read errors for loading quests, causing black screens and defaulting to the use of the default tileset even if the entire Tiles section is blank.
  • Zquest seems to crash if left unfocused for a long time.
  • SLOW animation, especially on older computers. Might be a memory leak somewhere.
(Mods, make note that if AGN is working again, close this immediately until such difficulties happen at some other time. Or now if you don't like this idea. Site, For reference)

Well the error page said that AGN reached its monthly bandwith, right? ;P

These are always good to transfer over to AGN later, but don't forget to tag each individual bug with the version of ZC that you're using.

ZQuest: View Map -> "Dark" option issue [704]

Click Etc, then click View Map. "Dark" option is checked by default, go ahead and click OK. You will see the map but, where are the shaded right triangles on the top left screens?

Shaded right triangles is a Dark Room screen flag.

AGN seems to be back up. This seems useless now.
