Enjoying this quest thus far and apologies, as this probably isn't the right place to ask, but using alpha 114, but don't see any of my items so hard to know what I'm choosing as a weapon. What do I click to see them?

Are the items invisible? I have no idea what would cause something like that if so...

 

If you mean how do you choose different ones at all, then you need to open the subscreen (enter key by default) and you can assign the items you have to the A/B button slots by pressing the corresponding buttons.
