Sick of the limitations of mp3s in Zquest? Have a good mp3 you want to use in a quest, but it's just too loud, or has a bad loop? Well, this can sort of help you.

-For cutting out unnecessary pauses in mp3s go to mp3cut.net.

-For volume changing, go to mp3 gain. It doesn't look user friendly at the start, but it's actually extremely easy to use.

   -First, download the program

   -Open mp3gain GUI

-Drag the mp3 to the path file

   -Chose the volume you want

   -Click Track analysis

   -Click Track Gain

Hope this helps if you want to use mp3s instead of MIDIS.
