ZC is not open-source, meaning that the code is for Developers ONLY. If it's available somewhere, you can bet yer arse that it's either virus-ridden, a fake, or the actual code modified in some way that would harm your computer upon compiling.

...

This makes me sound like a hypocrite but I have the code, a REALLY old version, and a not-so-old version.

Well how did you get it? You're not a developer. Haven't been up to any hacking, have you? icon_razz.gif

The fact that Beta Link quoted Majora in his post didn't imply to you that he was talking to Majora and not you icon_confused2.gif

Unless the owner of AGN has a total change of heart, the entire source code for Zelda Classic is under developer control, and will not be released. We may get a couple glances at small sections, but never the whole thing. Not without some questionable activities involved

I actually know that somebody was able to get the source code before, but I'm pretty sure he made a deal with the devs to not release it.

AGN was hacked before and the source code of some versions stolen. That's why it's sometimes available online and often available on file-sharing sites.
