I just tried downloading ZC 2.10.2, but the link on the AGN forum thread "ZC 2.10 Bugs" leads to a Not Found error. Is there any other place to get it?

That downloads a 725 byte file that says it's corrupted. On that matter... I've been trying to get 2.10.2 for quite a while now, and every link I've found or been shown has had something wrong with it. I'm under the impression that it doesn't actually exist, and it's all an elaborate hoax to annoy me. Someone told me that it would fix my midi playback problems, but all it does is LIE!

Like CAKE? icon_deformed.gif

I though there was only a Linux version of 2.10.2. Are you running Linux?

Er, I hate to sound like a broken record but it does work for me. I didn't check the file before, just checked if it was there (cause first post was simply talking about a Not Found error) but now I just downloaded it and checked the .zip and it does indeed work for me. Got ZC and ZQ to launch just fine, all the appropriate files, and no corruption. :\

TMS-there is indeed a windows version.

In that case, AaronJer, SillyCat 2, and whoever else, would you like me to re-host it on my site if that link isn't working for you?

Er, I think this might be a case of me thinking everyone uses windows again. I sometimes do that, just outta habbit. Silly Cat, are you using OS X, or Linux?

There is no OS X version as far as I know but the download for the Linux is at least working for me.

I'm using Windows XP, but either way it wouldn't really matter what OS I was using... because the file that downloads is 725 bytes... which is definitely too small to be just about anything.

How irritating. The Linux one downloads just fine, but I can't use it on my XP computer... I guess I'll have to bust out my Linux machine, even though I hate it.

Here's 2.10.2 and some other contents that I had in the folder:

http://h1.ripway.com...m418/ZC2102.zip

It should work. It has a few quests in the zipfile and mp3 files for one of the quests as well. Sorry that I didn't clean that up, but I was lazy.

PM me if it doesn't work.

And of course it still doesn't really work on my computer. I can actually get it to start, unlike vanilla 2.10... but it crashes the instant I go into the tile editor... bleh... oh well.

Are you mostly trying to use it for ZQ? I made my quest in 2.10 and then recommended people playing it in 2.10.2. It works fine that way as well. Then again, I'm not sure of what kind of differences there are between 2.10 and 2.10.2 in ZQ. I think that the midi fix is mostly in ZC, if that's what you are worried about.

AaronJer, can you please remember not to double post, instead, use the edit button to add things to your original post. Thanks. icon_wink.gif

Actually I was just hoping it would magically not crash. Yet again, my pragmatism has only been bolstered.
