Ok

I have a problem with running Zelda Classic ver 2.11 Lost Isle build full screen. The windowed game works fine, but when I maximize to fullscreen, the graphics have no movement (I can hear the menu selecting, and when i get into a game, the music and sounds work fine....I walked around (couldn't see it) and even was hit and damaged by enemies).

Like I said, it only happens fullscreen whether it's normal or with the "-fullscreen -directx" extension on the end. Any ideas??

This may be a dumb question but you do know that the Lost Isle build will only play"Lost Isle" and"Origin"don't you?
If you are trying to play another quest then that's your problem.

You can download version 2.10 and others here http://www.zeldaclassic.com/

I cannot run the LI ZC Build in full screen either or any other new ZC builds for that matter. If I do, I get annoying graphical issues like you. I just have to settle for a windowed mode from now on, which sucks, but it is still better than nothing. Sometimes ZC works in mysterious ways.

The best you can do on large screens is -windowed -res 640 480 big to have it run at 2x scale.

LinkSleepsAgain - I appreciate the thought...but I've been playing ZC since early 05, I just never joined until recently. I have seen people that can't read and seem to have that problem though! hahaha Thanks again!

Peteo - hehe...kinda embarrassing that my LI is down again. It worked perfectly in fullscreen ever since I got that download, but after my XP Repair from the other day...I'm where your at! And you see, that kinda sucks...I mean, I don't mind that I have to play Windowed at all...I usually play it on my 55" Widescreen behind me anywho, but you made the game and your stuck not getting the full benefits of your own creation!! Cock-a-mame horse doo if you ask me!! Sorry your in the same position bro.

Koopa - That's the maximum window size right?

OK.....I HATE MY COMPUTER. It works like a human...not robotic-like consistency, and works when it feels like it.

LI ZC plays full screen now, but now my save game file is erased. You see kids, don't be a Ducktoe69x, back up your files so you don't lose everything. O-well, at least I know where everything is now (well, almost everything). Damn slave labor shop made pc-pos (piece of $hi*) always breaking....

Ducktoe - you can only scale the actual playing area up to 2x, you can make the window 800x600 if you want but the rest will just be black.

You can also of course reduce your screen resolution, either via the control panel or in XP make a shortcut to ZC, right-click, choose properties and on the "compatibility" tab select a lower resolution. That tab can also be your friend when graphical problems happen, though you'll have to experiment with the options yourself.
