I love 2.5 so far, the bugs don't bother me as much. I was, of course, hoping for more features that have been announced, because I don't want to wait 40 more years to get them

According to DN, 3.0 will be a total re-write, true 32-bit color mode, and lots of other toys, including a drop of Allegro(at least I think that was posted, but then again I might be dreaming ).

With Allegro gone... a lot of you may be like "Dude! You don't use Allegro! Port it to (whatever handheld is out in 40 years)"

I'm not using the 2.5 builds because I'm not interested in beta testing. I stopped looking for bugs around the time they added scripting to ZC.

I have two quests in 2.5.

One is already done, the other I'm waiting for the release before I continue on.

So, no. I'm not at all frightened.

I'm not fearing from 2.5, 2.5 is something that makes my fear go away. More DMaps, enemy editor, item editor... Kawaii.

As for the battle with Sigma 3.0... The 32 bitness would be far too awesome. Full aLttP remake? Rather an improved aLttP!

Actually, you can go as far a remake Four Swords Adventures(32 bit color = complete pwnage Gamecube effects )

OoT remake, MM Remake, heck Windwaker Remake and Twilight Princess.

Of course 3.0 might also bring forth harder to use-ness.

I have looked at it, and I like it. I'll use it.

But I will wait before it's released to use it. Seeing as I'm a guy who tends to not pick up on something for a long time (like my quest, or PureZC itself), I'll probably need that time to finish TLoZ: Untitled.

Yeah, I'm using it right now, and future quests will be on it. SoP is my first and only 2.10 project, and that BS project being made in secret is on 1.92 beta 183.

So... needless to say, after the old quests are done, I'm moving on...

I am not using 2.5 but Build 509 (witch IS probaly the build of 2.5...) so no I am not afraid of it

It's not just 509. It could be 429, 254, or the old 2.11 betas, which I am using.

And why is it 2.5 if we already have 2.10?

2.5 is greater than 2.10.

Think of it as 2.50 instead of 2.10 if that's easier for you.

And, seeing as you weren't here in the somewhat earlier days of the betas, 2.11 is what 2.5 used to be called, so 2.11 and 2.5 are the same.
