Might be a silly question but have you tried to approach the shape by determining the theme or name of the dungeon? If you're approaching shape first, it could be causing the roadblock. Maybe challenge yourself by getting some prompt words? Like how Zelda 1 had the Eagle, the Moon, the Dragon, etc.

There's also this 2014 post that has a lot of template shapes.

I usually just draw some random shape that looks neat in the DMap editor and go from there (at least when it comes to NES dungeons).

You could also think of a motif for your dungeon or the entire quest. A lot of Zelda 1 dungeons are shaped after animals or mythical creatures. The second quest has most dungeons be shaped after letters, and so on.

Yeah. I'm going for an elements theme for all the dungeons.

I managed to do water but i have no clue what to do for wind.

Perhaps the aquarius zodiac symbol it kind of looks like wind currents
